I’m an early worm and a night owl, which makes me one tired lady during the day. I don’t want to be this way, but dreams keep me awake, and when I fall asleep, my full bladder wakes me up. I’ve never enjoyed falling asleep, but I also don’t like getting up when I’ve not had enough sleep!
It’s quiet and I can hear the cricket and frog songs. When our old fridge quiets down, I can hear night. It’s telling me “Go to bed silly woman.” But, I’m stubborn and wanted to write this out in defiance to the sleep that hangs out behind my eyes. Tomorrow will be a new day and I will get up, take my thyroid meds, mix a pre-workout drink, pull my dumbbells out from under the couch and do a workout.
I’ll check-in with a new August challenge group, get quiet for a few moments and read a devotion, take a walk in the sunlight. None of that is in the right order, but all of that is what I’ll do and I’ll be grateful.
Well, let me go wash my face. This Lady Gaga lip crayon is good stuff and stays on all day. Midlife is weird. :)
Goodnight readers. Goodnight dreamers. Goodnight substack.
